Re: Potential Proposal

Umma,

We no longer use this mailing list for proposals or technical discussion. Please open an issue here instead:

You’ll do best with a compelling use case (or reason) for this addition. Why do you need this particular border style? Why are existing alternatives not sufficient? What does this new style unlock?

After convincing folks that the use case is good, then we’d move on to the details. One question that comes to my mind is how corners would be handled. Dashed and dotted borders have their own issues with corners, but I think wavy lines could get even worse as they meet.

Thanks,

Alan

Subject: Potential Proposal

Hello,

I've been thinking about submitting a proposal for border-style: wavy but before doing so, I wanted to check whether this was something that has been proposed or thought about before? And if so, what was the reasoning behind it?

If not, I'd be keen to write up a proposal and any best practices or chances of it being considered seriously would be appreciated.

Umma
