-------- Forwarded Message -------- Subject: Horizontal review requests update Resent-Date: Tue, 09 Mar 2021 22:20:38 +0000 Resent-From: chairs@w3.org Date: Tue, 9 Mar 2021 17:20:33 -0500 From: Philippe Le Hegaret <plh@w3.org> Organization: World Wide Web Consortium To: Chairs <chairs@w3.org> All, we're moving away from relying on emails to request horizontal reviews. The TAG has been using GitHub for some time. Internationalization switched in December 2019. Today, we're doing the same for Accessibility, Security and Privacy. From now on, to request horizontal reviews, you'll need to raise issues in the respective repositories: * https://github.com/w3c/i18n-request/issues * https://github.com/w3c/a11y-request/issues * https://github.com/w3c/security-request/issues * https://github.com/w3cping/privacy-request/issues * https://github.com/w3ctag/design-reviews/issues Please check our documentation for more details: https://www.w3.org/Guide/documentreview/ We expect in the future to facilitate those requests by providing a comprehensive form (to avoiding having to file 5 separate issues) so today's change is only a first step. In addition, we added pages to help the Director, the AC, and the Groups to track the state of the horizontal reviews for each specification: https://www.w3.org/PM/horizontal/reviews.html For example, for the Payment Request API: https://www.w3.org/PM/horizontal/review.html?shortname=payment-request Thank you and, as always, feedback is welcome, Philippe
