Re: Invitation to APA meeting on Wednesday 10, March at 12:00 EST (17:00 UTC)

Janina,

A recording will be very useful! I will also try to postpone mediaquery-related topics until the following week, so that some people can choose to attend the demonstration instead.

Thanks,

Alan

    Hi, Alan:

Yes, I couldn't recall whether the conflict was every week, but clearly
    it's a conflict next week.

I'm a bit hesitant to change the demo time because we've put out several
invites, and I'm concerned to avoid confusion. However, we do expect to
capture the event via Zoom and make that video available shortly
afterwards. Hopefully, that can serve as next best thing?

    Best,

    Janina

He will demonstrate how Media Queries features can be used to enhance personalization and to assist people with disabilities. He has created web pages to demonstrate how the media features prefers-reduced-motion, forced-colors, prefers-contrast and prefers-reduced-transparency can benefit people with vestibular disorders and visual impairments. He will report on his investigation of how other features can make a website easier to use, display alternative content, and extend time-outs.
