The CSSWG is updating the CSS Color Level 3 Recommendation to incorporate an erratum. https://www.w3.org/Style/2011/REC-css3-color-20110607-errata.html Blink and Gecko both pass the relevant testcase, proving two implementations: https://test.csswg.org/suites/css-color-3_dev/nightly-unstable/html4/t44-currentcolor-inherited-c.htm The current step in the process is (to make things really clear and understandable to outsiders, apparently) republishing as “Candidate Recommendation”. Therefore we have published a CR of CSS Color Level 3: https://www.w3.org/TR/css-color-3/ On the plus side, this means the spec copy on /TR has incorporated the erratum into its text. On the minus side, Chris Lilly will be jumping through a number of Process hoops and additional publications for us before we can actually return the spec to REC status, and it will therefore be masquerading as an incomplete and untested spec for the next few months. As always, feedback on the spec can be sent to the CSSWG by posting to www-style@w3.org with [css-color-3] in the subject line or (preferably) filed in GitHub at https://github.com/w3c/csswg-drafts/issues Comments on the REC-updating process can be sent to the AB at https://github.com/w3c/w3process/ For the CSS WG, ~fantasai
