I confirm your findings. I also get actual result with Firefox 43 and 
Chrome 47.0.2526.106 under Linux Kubuntu (trusty) 14.04.03, KDE 4.13.3, 
Linux 3.13.0-74-generic, x86_64.

Ctrl+End does not move cursor all the way down to the bottom of document 
either.
