One more thing to propose to defer. I’d like to defer orthogonal table cells to future levels. I understand this has good use cases especially in non-East Asia, and Trident implements this at some levels, but it is failing many tests. WebKit/Blink do not support this, and Gecko said a later milestone than the initial release of vertical support for simple content[1]. Since Writing Modes Level 3 is the first level CSS supports vertical flow, I’d like to prioritize stability and interoperability of simple content in this level. Furthermore, I suspect there might be some spec work in table calculations if we really starts working on this. I think such work would fit better in future levels.
