Good morning, I'm Hyojin who proposed the css-round-display spec[1] in CSS WG Sydney meeting. (Feb, 2015) I believe that css-flexbox can be extended to support a round display. For example, there are two values of flex-direction such as 'row', 'column', and we can consider to add 'circular' value to align the contents along a round display edge. For the rest, there can be several issues such as an angle for a start point(0 deg or 90 deg), a distance btw elements, origin of elements(center, right-top), but I don't know whether the css-flexbox is the right place or not to discuss with these topics. LG has recently released the brand new smart watch urbane LTE product[2](available only Korea now) mounted the webOS[3], so the most applications in the watch are developed using Web technologies(HTML, CSS, JS) except for a few system applications. I heard that smart watch web app developers experienced inconvenience for a layout due to a round display. As more devices mounted a round display is released, the role of css will be important for web app developers to make web app easily. I'm wondering what the css-flexbox supports in consideration of a round display.
