I’m thinking about the author poll for text-justify the WG resolved in the last F2F, and I’d appreciate a bit more clarifications. Sorry if it was already talked at the F2F, the voices wasn’t always clear. Q1: By looking at the Future Possibilities[1] and Regressions[2] table, I think it’s obvious that Chinese and Japanese would prefer “Expand CJ not K", so when we say we want to poll to authors, are we talking about Korean authors? Q2: Within the 3 options, should we include all 3 options including “Solid CJK”, or just “Expand CJ not K” and “Compromise”? Q3: I’d like to understand what the WG would like to do against the poll results. I guess that the WG is happy to take “Expand CJ not K” if Korean authors prefer that too. What would happen if not (i.e., preferred different options than C/J, split, or not enough responses, etc.)?
