It's time to de-outofdatify CSS Generated Content Module Level 3 [1] . I've been working through it, converting it to Bikeshed, removing sections that are now in other specs, and putting in refugee sections from GCPM. Nothing has been pushed yet. Here are some of the changes I'm contemplating, some of which may require WG resolutions. I'll add this as an agenda item to our next telecon. A. Removing the section on pseudo-elements, as that's now it's own spec. B. Removing the counters and numbering section, as that's now in css-lists. C. Replacing the section on named strings with the corresponding section from GCPM. D. Adding leaders, x-refs, and bookmarks from GCPM per WG resolution. E. The icon property is both here and in CSS-UI, and is marked at-risk there. Should I delete it here, or should it move from CSS-UI? F. Things like content: square are in this draft, and at least one of the PDF formatters supports them. But the way they are defined is actively anti-interoperable (the suggestions for square include three different unicode characters). Should this be deleted? G. All material related to 'pending', 'move-to', and such hasn't been expunged from the document yet, but will be. H. Ian Hickson, Håkon Lie, and Fantasai are listed as editors. Both Hixie and Håkon are fine with being promoted to former editor. Thanks, Dave Cramer [1] http://dev.w3.org/csswg/css-content/
