The CSS WG has published an updated Working Draft of the CSS Will-Change Module Level 1: http://www.w3.org/TR/2014/WD-css-will-change-1-20140429/ This document defines the 'will-change' property, which allows authors to hint to the UA what aspects of an element are likely to change in the near future, so that UAs can optimize to handle those changes ahead of time. The spec is currently being implemented by Firefox and Blink-based browsers. Feedback on the precise semantics of the property are appreciated. Please send any comments to this mailing list, <www-style@w3.org>, and please, prefix the subject line with [css-will-change] (as I did on this message). For the CSS WG, Tab Atkins Jr.
