28.04.2014, 23:02, "Philip Walton" <philip@philipwalton.com>: > Please let me know if this has been discussed before (I couldn't find anything on it, though it's admittedly a hard thing to search for). I have sent a similar proposal 2 years ago: http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/www-style/2012Apr/0010.html It describes a potential functional notation of `rem()` for using any ancestor's (not just direct parent's) font-size as a reference font-size by passing necessary level number to the `rem()` function as argument. The proposal has been ignored for some reason (maybe sent on not quite appropriate date?).
