Dear all, the latest version of the CSS3 Speech editors' draft now includes a revamped definition of volume control to align with SSML 1.1 (which, unlike v1.0, is based on a proper logarithmic scale). A new section has been added to describe how list-style-types are rendered with speech synthesis (this applies to display:list-item and the content:counter() function). The 'age' field of 'voice-family' is now a number instead of a enumeration of keywords (a-la SSML). I also fixed a bunch of editorial issues, many thanks to all who sent feedback in! The draft is starting to look good now. Let's hope it is ripe enough for a transition to Last Call Working Draft, soon. Regards, Daniel http://dev.w3.org/csswg/css3-speech
