It is stated here: http://www.w3.org/TR/css3-2d-transforms/#transform-origin-property that transform-origin "refer to the size of the element's box". It is not clear which box: inner, padding, border... is mentioned there. My experiments show that it should be border box so if someone will want to rotate element around its left/bottom visual corner then it will be a matter of defining transform-origin: left bottom; In any case inner box there is almost useless. -- Andrew Fedoniouk http://terrainformatica.com
