If not one but two of the words is equal to val, then it isn't clear
whether this matches or not.  I suggest adding "(or more)".


"Represents" is also unclear.  I suggest:

  | Matches an element if and only if the <code>att</code>
  | attribute is ...

and using the same "Matches an element if and only if" construct for
the other cases too.
