I'm new here, hope I am posting this to the correct list. I did a search of the archives, and did not see this question discussed in previous threads. Is there any expectation that the w3 css validator will recognize css3 syntax sometime soon? It would be great to be able to validate the new features, as some of the best ones are either already supported by current browsers, or may be used with a little help from jquery. The w3 html validator has no problem with html5. I have tried pasting the code into the validator directly from the spec page, so I am sure it is the validator, not my code ;-)
