Ah.  The main impact would be that a UA that deals with the :visited 
privacy issues by, e.g., treating links differently depending on where 
they point (instead of blanket claiming all of them to be unvisited) 
would not be able to usefully expose :visited matching via this API. 
Maybe that's ok.
