Note: the WG has resolved to add box-shadow back to CSS3 Background & Borders [1] but as the editor's draft has not yet been updated, the following refers to the last document version for which it was defined [2]. The syntax, as described, allows values such as: box-shadow: inset; box-shadow: inset blue; box-shadow: blue; These values are syntactically valid but will have no effect in the absence of offsets and other shadow radii. Is this intentional ? Should we update the specified syntax to forbid such values ?
