[css3-background] New CR for Backgrounds And Borders

The CSS WG just published a CR for the Backgrounds And Borders module:

   http://www.w3.org/TR/2009/CR-css3-background-20091217

That means that W3C now asks for implementation feedback. And, as usual,
we like the feedback to be sent to the <www-style@w3.org> mailing list
with at least the following in the subject line:

    [css3-background]

The module extends the capabilities of CSS level 2 with, among other
things, the ability to add multiple background images to an element,
resize the background images, use images as borders, and round the
corners of elements.

To allow sufficient time for implementations, tests, and feedback, the
specification will not be advanced to Proposed Recommendation before 17
June 2010.

The comments on the last working draft and the resulting modifications
to the specification are listed in the disposition of comments:

For the CSS WG,
Bert
