>From what I know: We have not figured out how to deal with other groups introducing new media features. There's been some demand for this for HTML media accessibility as well. One idea I had was to eventually develop a Media Queries 2 that creates a registry of some sorts, though given the precedent with CSS properties in SVG having other groups just publish Recs without registry works for me too and might be a lot less hassle.

The other thing I know is that you are duplicating some interfaces we have under development:
