HSL is just a different representation of the RGB color model. Since the CSS spec says "All RGB colors are specified in the sRGB color space", HSL too is sRGB because it can't be any other way. HSL and RGB are directly convertible from one to the other, and are not based on a particular color space. HSL is just as ambiguous as to the exact color you get as RGB.
