I have often wondered why text-align does not apply to table-column elements, such that, a table column would be able to set the horizontal alignment for all of the applicable cells. Is this solely a matter of difficult implementation, or something else? Is there a CSS3 mechanism for horizontal alignment other than text-align in every cell? -- Ryan Cannon
