It's worth noting on this list (since before the beginning of this year sXBL was developed by a joint task force between the CSS and SVG groups, and the work is related to previous drafts published by the CSS WG) that a new working draft of sXBL was published last week: http://www.w3.org/TR/2005/WD-sXBL-20050815/ This draft includes a request for public feedback on the selection mechanism in the includes attribute: http://www.w3.org/TR/2005/WD-sXBL-20050815/#includes-syntax which I believe covers both whether XPath or Selectors should be used and what subset should be used. This was one of the three open issues described in the status section of the previous working draft. As the status section says, feedback on this or any other issues in the draft should be sent to www-svg@w3.org, not to www-style. -David -- L.
