Section 4.3.4 Why does CSS 2.1 not support IRI's? i.e. *RFC3987.* C058 from http://www.w3.org/TR/2004/CR-charmod-resid-20041122/ indicates that IRI's should be supported. It would be best for a widely referenced specification to follow this suggestion. The charmod specification indicates that there must be a specific reason not to follow this should (http://www.w3.org/TR/2005/REC-charmod-20050215/#sec-Conformance). Please fix this so that CSS 2.1 is compatible with grammars that use IRIs (XLink 1.1, SVG 1.2, etc...) and it conforms with C058 from Charmod resource identifiers. Regards, Craig Northway
