I am interested that the attribute "style" will offer the same or similar capabilities like they are provided by the element "style" in the element "head". The document "Syntax of CSS rules in HTML's "style" attribute" (http://www.w3.org/TR/css-style-attr) shows an approach in this direction. But its state is "W3C Working Draft 15 May 2002". When will the next steps be tried for the specification in the standardisation process? Does it matter that the CSS code can be written as an attribute value instead of the content of an element? Is a description about quoting of special characters needed? Sincerely, Markus Elfring
