RE: CaScadeS, a stylesheet editor for Mozilla/Netscape Composer

Looks good! I wish we could try it out; would probably give better
feedback if able to play with it. In general, I am only considered about
productivity; although a visual tool is helpful and usually error/typo
proof, I wouldn't use it if typing was more convenient :-)

1) I see the interface provides for 3 tabs per selector: General, Text
and Background. How about Box(borders, margins, padding etc),
Display/Lists/Floats, Positioning, Media etc? Also, I believe Font and
Text are two different categories.

2) How about the ability for free typing in the General tab?

3) Does this support inline style attributes?

4) The ability to produce shorthand properties and the ordering of
selectors and rules in the result CSS document?

5) SVG CSS is a subject of it's own. I would suggest an SVG mode with
re-ordering/grouping of CSS properties (If CSS is to be supported)

6) In general, some user defined extensibility (via XML/RDF config
files?) for setting user defined properties or templates or even wizards
(or a way to make them) would really satisfy power users; I bet most of
us would give our work back to you.

7) OT: I got jealous. Does all this involve XUL? Do I have to know C to
start playing with Mozilla modules?

Thanks for listening,

Manos
