You still can define "average user" according to site tematics & estimated 
auditory.
I doubt microsoft.com has even 1% of visitors using Linux, why here it's 
around 70%  :-)
Also, Netscape %% is much higher for Linux & Open Source-related sites, while 
on erotic (and porno) sites most of users use Windows and MS IE.
