I am happy to announce the availability (as of a few days ago) of a new working draft published by the W3C CSS working group: "CSS3 module: Color". http://www.w3.org/TR/css3-color The draft incorporates and brings together in one place the parts pertaining to color of previous W3C Recommendations including HTML 4, and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) levels 1 and 2. In addition, it describes new* CSS3 properties authors can use to specify opacity, ICC color profiles, and rendering intent of image content. Please direct feedback, comments, etc. to this list: www-style@w3.org Thanks, Tantek *opacity, color-profile, and rendering-intent are new properties to CSS3, though originally discussed on this list (some as early as 1996) in one form or another and developed within the CSS and SVG working groups. Note that the current SVG CR has incorporated some of the same properties.
