Hi, I am trying to understand how to implement Windows application which installs software off a CD-ROM. So I got myself a sample of such CD-ROM. When I double-click on the CD-ROM, a menu appears with several buttons for installation options. I was told to look at the file autorun.inf on the CD-ROM and that this file contains directions for displaying the buttons. The icon for autorun.inf file says that the file type is txt/ccs. When I open autorun.inf with a text editor, its content is: [autorun] open=SETUP.EXE icon=CD.ICO I tried opening this file with Internet Explorer, but nothing shows up. It would be GREATLY appreciated if you provide somem pointers or any kind of information. Thanks a lot, Milica milica@cat.syr.edu
