Aural Cascading Style Sheets

Readers with long memories may recall discussion on this list about
style sheets for speech synthesis and auditory presentation. Now that
CSS1 is done, it is time to look at the proposed extensions and see
where CSS is going in the future. The proposed Aural Cascading
Style Sheets specification is based heavily on the proposals by T V
Raman and subsequent discussion, and hs been released as a W3C NOTE to
stimulate further discussion
