It is also worth pointing out that Microsoft has unofficially shown a strong interest in the XML project. The final deliverable of that project will be a specialization of DSSSL for the Web. If their interest continues, and their promise to implement XML extends to DSSSL, then one of the major vendors has already taken the "bait."
