[www-smil] <none>

i'm looking to create a SMIL file with a variable input from video ie 3
links to 3 different video clips to play in the same region but
each time i try the video opens up in  a new player i'm sure there is a
way to get round this . Do i use multiple SMIL files or XML ?
Any help or source code would be great!
