Hello all you experts out there ,- Do any SMIL implementations support transparent layers? In the G2 player, for example, it is possible to display transparent GIFs and set the layer background color, but the layer background itself is always "solid." We'd like to use overlays if possible, say to place a frame with rounded corners in front of a running video. (Much better quality than processing the video through After Effects or such.)
