----------------------------------------------------------------- ICDM '12 (The 12th IEEE International Conference on Data Mining) ----------------------------------------------------------------- December 10-13, 2012, Brussels, Belgium http://icdm2012.ua.ac.be/ EARLY REGISTRATION DEADLINE: November 18, 2012 You are invited to attend the 12th IEEE International Conference on Data Mining (ICDM 2012) which will be held in Brussels, Belgium, on December 10 through 13, 2012. IEEE ICDM, now in its twelfth year, is established as the world's premier research conference in data mining. ICDM provides a leading forum for presentation of original research results as well as exchange and dissemination of innovative, practical development experiences. PROGRAM: The ICDM 2012 technical program, including a list of accepted papers, is now available at http://icdm2012.ua.ac.be/ Highlights of the program include invited talks by Martin Krzywinski (Genome Science Centter), Bernhard Schoelkopf (Max Planck Institute for Biological Cybernetics), and Jure Leskovec (Stanford University), and three tutorials, the ICDM contest, 16 workshops, 6 demos, an Industry and Government track and a panel. The technical session also features 81 regular papers and 70 short papers accepted out of 756 paper submissions from 47 countries. VENUE & ACCOMODATION: The conference will be held in Brussels, Belgium. Brussels, being the capital of both Belgium and Europe, is a cosmopolitan city, with an art de vivre to be envied. Besides Belgium and Europe, Brussels is also the capital of comic strips, surrealism, chocolate, Art nouveau and beer, and is one of the greenest cities. Its role and its talents may be on a vast scale, but it owes its very special charm to its human scale. It is an ideal size which enables it to adapt to your requirements or wishes, however ambitious they may be, and however long your stay. The conference will take place in the Sheraton Brussels Hotel, for which the competitive rate of €139 euro has been negotiated. See http://icdm2012.ua.ac.be/content/accommodation for details. Your support in staying at the Sheraton Hotel helps keep the conference costs down, which directly affects your registration fees. ICDM guarantees the hotel that we will fill a certain number of rooms per night during the conference. ICDM incurs penalties if too many attendees opt to stay in other hotels in the area or neglect to indicate to the hotel that they are with the ICDM conference. TRAVEL: Brussels Airport is directly accessible from many airports around the world. REGISTRATION: Reduced rates are available for early registration. See http://icdm2012.ua.ac.be/content/registration for details. We hope to see you in Brussels in December! Bart Goethals and Geoff Webb, IEEE ICDM 2012 General Chairs Mohammed J. Zaki, Jeffrey Xu Yu, and Arno Siebes IEEE ICDM 2012 Program Chairs. > To unsubscribe from this mailing list: send an e-mail with body > "unsubscribe icdm" to listserv@listserv.cc.kuleuven.ac.be
