WEDNESDAY, 24TH OF SEPTEMBER 
Four tutorials will will kick-start the first conference morning. The official conference opens with the keynote presentation of Hans Uszkoreit titled “Getting at the Semantics of Texts”. The afternoon presentations range from “Semantic Supercomputing” to “A Paradigm Shift: From Business to Knowledge Processes”. A panel discussion around “Large Scale Data and Service Volume” followed by a reception at the City Hall Vienna will round up the first conference day.

THURSDAY, 25TH OF SEPTEMBER
The topical subject of the “Internet of Services” will be the focus of Orestis Terzidis’ (SAP) keynote talk on Thursday morning. Several presentations and a roundtable discussing “How do Semantic Technologies Deliver Business Value?” will accomplish the morning session. The experts from Thomson Reuters Peter Jackson and Barak Pridor will talk about “Extraction and Resolution Capabilities for Entities, Events and Facts” in the second keynote of the day. In addition to the presentations. the afternoon comprises a panel session around the topic “Commercializing New Technology”, two roundtables and the STI International Business Idea Contest. The imposing gala dinner at the Palais Ferstl in the evening promises to be the social highlight of the conference.

FRIDAY, 26TH OF SEPTEMBER
Yahoo’s expert Hugo Zaragora will start the third conference day with the keynote talk “Improving Search with Semantic Technologies”. After the presentations on Friday morning, the conference will close with a panel session discussing the essential topic “Semantic Technology: Encouraging Industrial Uptake”.
