Not sure. I may have a 'reciprocated interaction' with a person which I
consider significant enough to put in my FOAF but they may not know me
from Adam :-) or worse still they might not want to know me :-(

Not defined as symmetric in the schema either.

FOAFsters on rdfweb-dev have pondered the semantic of foaf:knows at
great length over the years and recognised that its use is a personal
declaration which maybe useful, but nothing more.
