ELPUB2003 is the 7th International Conference on Electronic Publishing,
co-sponsored by the International Council for Computer Communication (ICCC)
and the International Federation for Information Processing (IFIP).
This scientific annual conference explores a variety of subjects related to
digital information and electronic publishing from both academic and
commercial point of view. The objective of ELPUB2003 is to bring together
researchers, managers, developers, and users working on the issues related
to electronic publishing for public, scientific and commercial applications.
We invite you to attend ELPUB2003 and promise you that it will be an
excellent opportunity to exchange and broaden your knowledge and experiences
of all the hottest topics in the area of electronic publishing.

The programme includes:

- Open Access Session (sponsored by OSI)

Note: Submissions of paper abstracts and posters have been closed. For more

WHO will come?

We are pleased to announce that this is a truly international conference. We
will have speakers from the following 19 countries: Angola, Austria,
Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany,
India, Netherlands, New Caledonia, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, UK and
USA. They will speak about the state of the art research in their field of
research (please have a look at

Furthermore, our special sessions will include the following speakers from
Portugal, Brazil, Canada, Germany and USA:

REGISTRATION

Registration for the conference, tutorial/workshops, etc. has started. You
can download the registration form via:

Special rates for accommodation and day trips are also offered. Registration
fees include proceedings, lunches, coffee breaks and conference dinner.
Note: Different registration fees apply before and after the 20th of May,
2003.

SCHEDULE

The tutorials/workshops are planned on the first day, the 25th (Wed) of
June, 2003. All the other sessions will be held on the 26th (Thu) and 27th
(Fri). Conference dinner (free for all the participants) is planned for
Thursday (26th) evening. Full details of programme will be shortly available
