Extensible Open RDF Toolkit (EOR) http://eor.dublincore.org/ EOR is an open source project, whose goal is to facilitate the rapid development of RDF applications focused on the discovery, management, integration and navigation of metadata. The EOR toolkit is a collection of extensible Java classes and services which serve as a code base, demonstrating by example functions and services common to RDF applications, i.e., metadata capture, search engines, etc.. EOR was developed, and is currently funded, by the OCLC Office of Research and The Dublin Core Metadata Initiative. This is the initial release and includes the following features: * Login service for authenticating users and managing personal save areas * Validate service for validating, serializing and saving RDF models to persistent data stores * Infuse service for inserting models into a relational database * Remove service for deleting models from the database * Search service complete with XSLT translation of the resultset model * Session management interface to support application development * Administration service for managing the creation and deletion of RDF databases * Free software / Open Source license This is an open source project and the complete source is included with this release. Details for downloading and installing EOR can be found on the project home page: http://eor.dublincore.org/ Best Regards, Harry Wagner OCLC / DCMI Dublin, OH 43017 (614) 761-5178 mailto:wagnerh@oclc.org
