Hi all, I'm pleased to announce REVERSE, an open-source, java-based PlugIn of the OntoMat Application Framework [1] embedded in KAON [2], the Karlsruhe Ontology and Semantic Web Infrastructure. REVERSE allows to graphically define mappings from relational databases to RDFS-based ontologies. Thus, the idea behind REVERSE is to turn DB instances into RDF statements via schema mappings. REVERSE is compliant to relational databases offering JDBC access, we have tested it with MySQL, Postgres, Microsoft SQLServer. REVERSE is available for download at http://kaon.semanticweb.org/REVERSE (different versions: install, java classes, java source) A detailed documentation is also available.
