What is the advantage of DC in RDF format?

Dir Sir,
       What is the advantage of Dublin Core in RDF format? What can we do
with Dublin Core in RDF format? Just only for search perpose? How do you
know(or evaluate) the search result from DC in RDF format is better than
current search engine method?
