True, unless such additional statements are marked. This issue came up before when regarding reified statements in the model, which are not explicitly in the input serialization. I think such "annotations" are inevitable, and in many cases, downright useful. The trick is to decide how much of the model is revealed through the API, or through output serialization. It may be sensible to control the view of the model that a client has and what gets serialized by applying appropriate filters, such as "Show/Hide Reified Statements" or "Show/Hide Annotations", etc. Perry
