I had the misfortune to look at: http://www.w3.org/2000/10/rdf-tests/SiRPAC-bugs/FEB-02-2001-1.rdf which starts <rdf:RDF xmlns:rdf="http://www.w3.org/1999/02/22-rdf-syntax-ns#" xmlns:e="e/"> I tried to work out what the relative namespace might mean and ended up retrieving the following declaration: "deprecate the use of relative URI references in namespace declarations" http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/xml-uri/2000Sep/0083.html May it be appropriate for the working group to remind the RDF community that this applies to future use of namespaces in RDF documents? yours Jeremy Carroll HP Labs
