Re: http://www.w3.org/TR/2000/CR-rdf-schema-20000327 Appendix A (XML serialisation) of the RDF Schema Spec candidate recommendation makes no mention of the MIME type that should be assigned to RDF schemas. To make matters worse, there appears to be no general agreement on the MIME type to be used for RDF/XML documents. I would have thought that this is likely to lead to implementation problems. For example it will not be possible for clients to specifically request RDF or RDF Schema documents as part of content negotiation. Furthermore, clients will not be able to differentiate between RDF/XML, RDFS/XML and other XML documents prior to beginning to parse the document content.
