but only full-time students will be considered for travel grants.

meritorious students. The travel grant is intended to cover travel
expenses and student registration expenses up to the specified limits.
Students interested in participating should submit a 1,000-word
abstract following the submission link at the conference Web site,
http://www.issre2002.org/students.php.

Abstracts will be reviewed, and selection will be based on the
following criteria:

1. Relevance to the technical content of the conference;
2. Originality;
3. Technical soundness.

The deadline for reception of the abstract is August 1, 2002.
Acceptance notification will be sent to the recipients of the award at
the latest by September 1, 2002.

For general information on this program, please contact Prof. Bojan
Cukic (cukic@csee.wvu.edu).

The recipients of the student travel award will be required to submit
a camera-ready short paper, which will be included in the supplemental
conference proceedings and to present their work in a short talk and
as a poster during the conference. Posters will also appear at the
conference Web site, accompanied by the student's short bio. Further
