Hello chairs, 4 February 2002: The [1]QA Working Group has released the first public Working Draft of the [2]QA Framework: Introduction. This draft introduces the goals and structure of the overall W3C Quality Assurance (QA) framework and includes a first version of the [3]Process & Operational Guidelines for promoting and facilitating the quality practices of W3C Working Groups. Comments are welcome. Visit the [4]QA Working Group home page. Ideally, as chairs, you should look at how *your* group behaves wrt to the set of Operation Guidelines introduced by this QA Framework, and report to us (QA) what is in your opinion the right process for W3C at large. There will be a presentation of this framework at the Tech Plenary at the end of the month, so have you questions/concerns ready for then! Thanks
