QAWG -- I have marked issue 59 "reopened", subsequent to Joseph's email (below) about a new version of a W3C contribution agreement/license. I don't think anyone was previously aware of this document, as no one ever mentioned it in Issue 59/CP5.3 (OpsGL) discussion. As I wrote in the reopened issue: "This does not necessarily change this issue's resolution, nor the related CP5.3. However, the existence of these materials and policies has not been considered previously in this issue's discussions, and the materials need to be looked at before final closure." In other words, I just want to be sure that we look at and consider these existing W3C-wide contribution policies and materials before we declare Issue 59/CP5.3 "done". -Lofton. >Resent-Date: Tue, 31 Dec 2002 15:19:48 -0500 (EST) >From: Joseph Reagle <reagle@w3.org> >Organization: W3C >To: public-xml-testsuite@w3.org, www-dom-ts@w3.org, www-qa-wg@w3.org, > Hugo Haas <hugo@w3.org> >Date: Tue, 31 Dec 2002 15:19:38 -0500 >User-Agent: KMail/1.5 >Cc: w3t-archive@w3.org >Subject: New Contribution Grant Text >X-Archived-At: http://www.w3.org/mid/200212311519.38215.reagle@w3.org >Resent-From: www-qa-wg@w3.org >X-Mailing-List: <www-qa-wg@w3.org> archive/latest/1321 >X-Loop: www-qa-wg@w3.org >Sender: www-qa-wg-request@w3.org >Resent-Sender: www-qa-wg-request@w3.org >List-Id: <www-qa-wg.w3.org> >List-Help: <http://www.w3.org/Mail/> >List-Unsubscribe: <mailto:www-qa-wg-request@w3.org?subject=unsubscribe> >X-RCPT-TO: <lofton@rockynet.com> > > > >As part of the transition of the European Host (INRIA to ERCIM) we have >updated and improved a number of our legal documents, including a document >you have used in the past: Contribution of Software or Test Materials to >W3CŪ. > >Should have the need to solicit contributions again, please use this >document: > http://www.w3.org/Consortium/Legal/2002/contribution-grant-20021231 > > >-- >Joseph Reagle Jr. http://www.w3.org/People/Reagle/ >W3C Policy Analyst mailto:reagle@w3.org >IETF/W3C XML-Signature Co-Chair http://www.w3.org/Signature/ >W3C XML Encryption Chair http://www.w3.org/Encryption/2001/
