Alex I wanted to give you a status on the comments you made on the SpecGL draft 26 Aug 2002 [1] The comments were made into 20 issues (80-99) for the Issues List [2]. These issues were discussed at the F2F and the issues list is being updated to reflect the resolutions. At the current time, the list reflects some of the resolutions, but is still being updated. Your comment regarding including examples and user scenarios in the SpecGL (issue 84) was discussed and the WG disagree with your proposal. Our (the WG) experience has shown that examples and user scenarios add to the understanding of a spec. Those reading the spec will not necessarily misinterpret. However, the SpecGL should not require that examples be embedded in the spec -e.g., they could be published concurrently and linked from Spec (for example, the SpecGL's ExTech documents). Additionally, examples are informative. regards lynne [1] http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/www-qa/2002Sep/0006.html [2] http://www.w3.org/QA/WG/qawg-issues-html.html
