Hi, I have discovered a new issue for user of the W3C TR space. Often some WD will never go further than the WD (or PR, etc) stage and will not finally become a Recommendation: - Lack of participation - Reformulation of the Technology - Integration in another Specification - etc. It's a problem for developers who doesn't the actual status of this working draft. Are some future development planned? Is the technology abandoned? Where the technology is explained now? etc. Another problem is for Specifications which makes references to a WD (dependencies). Possible solutions: 1. In the QA Matrix [1], integrate every document, even WD, and give an additional information when these ones have a status (Deprecated, abandoned, integrated, etc) 2. When a WD will never reach another status, than the ones cited previously, the document MUST be updated a last time to show its current status.
