I have only one comment to the discussion on W3C patent policies. The Web should be used for information exchange through open standards. No exclusions from the royalty-free policy should be granted so as to allow proprietary and/or royalty-bearing _communication protocols_ or _document exchange formats_ to be used as web standards. This is also important for security reasons.
