p3p cannot be implemented fast enough and should effect a total block by all users against current industry practices. This is not a commercial site operators' option but rather a critical necessity. Now, sites are, effectively, inoperable if you refuse any cookie. One cookie to personalise a free private startpage, homepage, email, or financial account; one cookie to disable all advertising tracting; one cookie to block all other unauthorized surveilance, et seq. should be the promise of the future. Current cookie practices are akind to stalking and rape. Let us put an end to these silent civil and criminal torts as soon as possible.
