I am struck by how much trouble Ken Martin is having with third party cookies and IE6. I am not a technical guy and I have no server to test CPs on. In my Monogaph "Disavow P3P Liability: Deploy Cookies With Legal Peace of Mind Under Internet Explorer 6," I have assumed the following CP would under IE 6 enable third party cookies to function fully: CP="NOR DSP COR CURi OUR" Is my assumption correct? Under the P3P Specification, the brief interpretation of the foregoing CP seems to be: For the data retention element, NOR means no retention. For the dispute element, DSP means there is a means of dispute resolution. For the remedies element, COR means the web administrator will correct errors. For the data purpose element, CURi means current data is collected but only if the user has opted-in. For the recipient element, OUR means the recipients of collected data are our agents and ourselves. Correct?
